👉Recovery provides extra support to aid in the speed and efficacy of muscle repair
Both are important! The mentality of can greatly increase your risk of injury 🚨 Your muscles experience microtears or microdamage in the pursuit of hypertrophy so if you don’t allow the muscles to heal, they can become weaker and less stable. So remember: Rest. Recover. Repeat. 🔁

We’ve been told stretching isn’t glamorous so it’s not as prioritized 😅 but it’s actually the foundation of movement and injury prevention! When you stretch often, both independently and assisted, you also gain mind/ muscle connection that you are able to apply in your training. 💪You build strength and pliability in your muscles, and perform movement with greater agility.

Does cupping leave bruises? We get asked this a lot and the short answer is No 🙅‍♀️ Bruises are from impact trauma that breaks the capillaries.
The process of cupping is the exact opposite! It lifts and pulls☝️↗️
The red marks you see after cupping are actually from blood🩸 being pulled into the area. The darker the mark, the more stagnation is in that area.
The more you receive cupping for the same issue, the lighter the marks will be, meaning less stagnation and more circulation!

“I enjoy an active lifestyle, and find fulfillment in helping others to do the same; whether they’re engaging in sports at the highest level or performing acts of daily living. Unfortunately, pain and injury are inevitable and can get in the way of this, but proper recovery and maintenance can minimize both. I hold an AAS in therapeutic massage, and certifications in neuromuscular therapy, Active Release Technique, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation stretching. I have experience working with collegiate division 1 athletes, professional athletes, and in physical/ occupational therapy. Whatever the goal, I help people get there by moving more, moving better, and with less pain.”
