**TBT** who doesn't love seeing a good Throwback Thursday to this old Cordova Mesa Mule Deer Buck that scored 217 inches . Killed on one of my best friends ranches that I leased and helped manage for many years... After she passed away, her greedy children completely ruined the ranch and what once was a vital and vibrant lady to our community and her ranch was an integral part of Huerfano county is all completely meaningless and of no effect or help to anyone locally nowadays !!
My advice is teach your kids to help people around them succeed instead of teaching them to be greedy and selfish, or you'll work your whole life of 90+ years creating something amazing and unique that they will destroy in 1-2 years!

This was a Thanksgiving Day Hunt again on the North fork branch of the Purgatoire River , Day 4 of hunting hard finally found 1 visible fresh track and a few of our amazing dogs had this cougar treed 20 minutes later and good friend Jayson hit him with the ol' 30-30.

Saved that Ranch a lot of deer, lions often kill for fun or will stay in one area training their offspring how to kill proficiently, and they need to be managed and not allowed to become so overpopulated and lose their fear of humans, or we will soon be on their menu once again like the olden days!

We have openings this winter for a few people that want to experience this hunt, super el nino predicted so should be tons of snow but even if there's no snow we will still hunt hard for you.
