It wouldn’t be ADWV without this next faculty member so get excited for our final Intensive faculty announcement…

A distinguished choreographer, educator, artistic director, and studio owner based in Los Angeles, Jess Warfield’s distinctive movement style reflects more than 25 years of bi-coastal training in Pennsylvania, New York, and California. She is a nationwide choreographer and master teacher, creating award-winning work for dance studios, universities, professional companies, music videos, and touring productions. Jess has taught at some of the industry’s most respected programs, including Broadway Dance Center, EDGE Performing Arts Center, Millennium Dance Complex, The Rock School, Boogiezone, and Pineapple Dance Studios, and has served on faculty for Tremaine Dance Conventions and The Pulse On Tour. Her career also includes collaborations with organizations such as CollectiveUth, Operation: Unite, Dancers Responding to AIDS, and the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks Dance Team, while mentoring dancers who have gone on to successful careers in television, film, and professional dance. A graduate of New York University with a bachelor’s degree in Art History and Psychology, Jess brings a unique blend of technical excellence, musicality, creativity, and storytelling to every class and studio she leads.

And then there were TWO…

We have two more faculty members left to announce and this next one is a GEM. 💎

An LA-based choreographer, movement director, producer, and educator who first rose to stardom as the runner-up on So You Think You Can Dance, Kent Boyd has built an impressive career performing around the world, starring in Disney Channel’s Teen Beach films and choreographing for artists including Vanessa Hudgens, Becky G, Lauv, and Dua Lipa. A longtime faculty member with Hollywood Vibe Dance Convention, Kent is passionate about inspiring the next generation of dancers and was recognized as Favorite Convention Teacher at the Industry Dance Awards. Known for his high-energy, character-driven style infused with humor and creativity, Kent encourages dancers to take risks, tell stories, and bring authenticity to every performance.

Kent is an absolute favorite and we can’t wait to welcome him back with the biggest open arms! 🫶🏼

From the So You Think You Can Dance stage to the Dancing with the Stars ballroom, Marcquet Hill is an absolute showstopper. With a repertoire rooted in showmanship, performance, and diversity, Marcquet is not just a ballroom powerhouse, but is a maven of many styles including ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip hop. In addition to his TV stardom, Marcquet has performed with artists including Selena Gomez, Jason Derulo, and Kali Uchis. Beyond the stage, Marcquet is passionate about mentoring the next generation of dancers, teaching at renowned studios and conventions while inspiring young artists to pursue excellence with confidence, creativity, and authenticity.

She has never been interested in doing things the ordinary way and that isn’t changing anytime soon. Nicole Wells has gone from performing and choreographing to building Dance Force into one of Australia’s leading performing arts institutes. She’s spent years helping dancers achieve their greatest goals while finding their individual artistry and sense of self along the way. Nicole’s students have gone on to perform all over the world, including West End musicals, Cirque du Soleil, Disney productions, and major international stages, but what matters most is the confidence, resilience, and work ethic instilled in them throughout the journey. Always creating, always evolving, and always pushing the next generation to be their best is what makes Nicole everything we love.

We’ve got double the announcements today and our next one is a force to be reckon with. 🔮

A dancer, choreographer, educator, and performance artist rooted in storytelling, emotion, and the transformative power of movement, Chaz Buzan was raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, and mentored by the legendary Mia Michaels from the age of 15. He has cultivated a career that has taken him from intimate creative collaborations to the world’s biggest stages alongside artists including Madonna, P!nk, Florence + the Machine, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, and Cirque du Soleil. His artistic voice extends beyond performance through projects such as the viral Love – For Art For Freedom and his film debut in Secret Project Love Revolution, both celebrating art as a catalyst for connection and human expression. Guided by curiosity and a deep reverence for the creative process, Chaz continues to create, perform, and inspire with the belief that art has the power to move people far beyond the stage.
