Why you should be training positional shooting: The range of reality rarely gives you a perfect stance, a flat surface, or the luxury of ignoring cover and concealment. Oftentimes, shooting braced also gives you significantly more accuracy and recoil management than standing.
Hoods, rooftops, barricades, uneven terrain, and whatever else is available all create the same problem: how do you build the most stable shooting position you can with what you’ve got. That’s the value of positional shooting. Learning where you can cheat, where you can’t, and how to use your environment to make accountable hits from less-than-ideal positions. The ZF-56 is right at home when training starts looking a little less like a square range and more like reality.
