Good news! The range is open. The pistol bays are soft so please park on the road and don't drive into them if you are shooting there. The same goes for the covered rifle range, walk out to service targets for at least another 7-10 days. The long-range rifle range is blocked with snow so you will also have to walk in there until the snow clears. We will be doing some maintenance to the covered rifle range and the .22 bay the week of May 5 so please check on the calendar for closure dates as we get closer. As a reminder you should always check the calendar throughout the season in case the area you want to use is closed. Also, do not share the gate code with anyone. There are many who have not followed our renewal protocol and will not receive the gate code until they complete a new application. If they don't have the code, and think they deserve it, tell them to contact us.

Members and prospective members, here are a few reminders:

Dues are due Jan 1st.

Current member membership renewals: Log on to WWRA.US and follow the directions under the "Renewals" tab. Once completed, ensure the appropriate dues are sent to the WWRA. If the WWRA receives your membership fee but does not receive your electronic renewal confirmation, you will not receive the new year's gate code.

Prospective members application process: Log on to WWRA.US and follow the directions under the "Membership" tab. Mail the fully completed application and dues the WWRA. Please follow-up in a timely manner to ensure we have received your application. If there are problems with your application, we will attempt to contact you to make corrections.

All club official contact information (address, phone numbers, email contact) is located on the WWRA website.

Gate codes will be sent out via email in the new year once the range road is clear of hazards and the range has been cleared. This is normally in the May/June timeframe. Range access may be restricted until the new gate code has been sent out.

We will hold a club meeting in the spring (April) to discuss upcoming range events and the range opening.

Minutes from the meeting held on 12/11 have been sent to all current members.

Important notice for WWRA members:

Membership renewals:

Note: These instructions are for current, renewing members only. Prospective members or those with memberships that have lapsed are to use the “Membership” tab on the WWRA website.

To renew a current membership, go to the WWRA website and find the “Member Renewal” tab. Follow the instructions contained, then fill in the required information and click on “Send”. A confirmation email will be sent to the WWRA. It is recommended that the applicant also chooses to receive a confirmation email.

Before a gate code is sent to the renewing member, both dues and a renewal confirmation email must be received by the WWRA secretary. The mailing address and membership fees are on the website.

These procedures are effective immediately and will apply for all future membership renewals. Members that have already paid dues for this CY renewal (2024) are exempt from this procedure for this CY only.
