Pony Day Camp Spots Available!

Small group settings. Ages 6 and up.
Learn all about horses, their care and beginner level or intermediate level riding depending on prior experience.

The day will be filled with learning the skills needed to ride and care for the horses, going on trail rides, fun horse related games, crafts, and horsemanship training.

8am to 3pm Monday-Friday (some flexibility on pick up and drop of times as needed)

$500 for 5 days.

No horse experience necessary, Ages 6 and up. Small group setting. Day will start with taking care of the horses, then riding and learning about horsemanship, followed by lunch time and learning activities/games/crafts.

Sassafras Stables Fall Fundraiser and Horse Experience
Sunday Nov, 7th 2021

Come out to the farm and enjoy a horse filled day of fun! Pack a lunch, we have dessert covered!

There will be:
A Natural Horsemanship Training Demonstration from 1 - 1:30
A Miniature jump course to ride your imaginary steed over
A super cute mini donkey who likes to entertain
“Pony” petting zoo (Open to all from 11:45 to 1:45)
Unicorn photos! (Open to all from 12:00 to 12:45)
Equine Art Gallery & Gift Shop
The Best Carrot Cake You Will Ever Eat

For the full Horse Experience you can buy tickets to take a 15 min horseback ride through the fields and woods, learn to groom a horse, hang out in our “pony” petting zoo with the stables namesake Miss Sassafras herself and get your photo taken with our very own Unicorn Zaphira. All without having to wait in any lines! Participants will go in groups of four to the four different stations spending 15 - 20 min at each. These groups will go from 10:30 to 12:00 and 1:45 to 3:15.
