Making the trek back to Afton tonight! Come join us or watch live on thecushion.com with live timing on My Race Pass. We went to Accord last night, made handicapping in the heat race. That put us on the pole for the feature. Unfortunately on the last pace lap before the green the left front shock decided it did not want to be apart of that feature, so we pulled had to pull to the infield.

Unfortunately we are not going to make it Afton like we hoped 😔 we can’t get what we need to fix what broke last night in time to make it up there! Try again next week!

We’re going to call it race day local this weekend! Assessed the motor when we got home after OCFS, all seemed to look good to go. So we are going to test it out tonight at Accord Speedway! Tune into thecushion.com if you can’t make it there 🏁

The last few days have been busy, as we muscled to get the car ready for a semi last minute decision to go to Orange County tonight. Life things put a massive speed bump in our racing the last few weeks.

With everything going on and a bit of a lack of motivation we hadn’t had the chance to get the car fixed up from a few weeks ago at Afton. A couple days ago we got the bug, and pushed through late nights to get to wherever we could this weekend.

With that, we finished up early this morning to make OCFS. We had a great start to our night, hot lapping top 5 lap time in our group and 11th overall. We started 6th in the heat after drawing 40th. The first couple laps of the heat were good, until something went amiss with our power plant. We’re not sure what it is, we’ll regroup and fingers crossed it’s not detrimental to the rest of our season. 🤞

This weekend we lost our whole world at 91 years old. She was the center of our lives. While our hearts are shattered, we are at peace knowing she is not suffering and back with Grandpa after 27.5 years missing him!

This weekend we lost our whole world at 91 years old. She was the center of our lives. While our hearts are shattered, we are at peace knowing she is not suffering and back with Grandpa after 27.5 years missing him!
