FRANK TEAGUE Takes First Mad Dawg WIN !
JOHNSON, HYATT, ABERNETHY, NELSON & TAYLOR Take Farm Points Race Wins.
Another WOW of a 4.50 Mad Dawg race! The Beal Racing Engines Americapalooza was a American Classic with twenty-one tough dawg racers on hand.
The finals had NCDRHoF member Frank Teague of Hickory, NC and 3x Time Dawg Champion Nick Cline of Mooresville, NC in the finals. Teague in his nitrous fed ’63 Chevy Corvette clicked off a .011 RT and run a dead on 4.502 ET at 160 MPH to beat out the Fulton powered ’38 Chevy Coupe of Cline by .009ths. The Champ Cline in his Mike Cline tuned Chevy had the better light with .005 RT, but ran a too quick 4.498 ET for the runner-up finish. This also made the former 2x Farm’s BIG 5 second Champion Teague’s first Mad Dawg win. 2021 Mad Dawg Champion Chad Tilley in his TnT Express Albert Racing Engines powered Chevy Beretta was the lone semi-finalist.
The new proud Dad Andy Beal of Thomasville, NC picked up the #1 Garry “Hooter” Hoots Qualifier award with a great 4.5003 ET run in his “All Motor” Beal Racing Engines ‘63 Chevy Corvette. Picking up the James”MF”Bunton Memorial Burn Out contest awards was Shane Westmoreland of Oak Ridge, NC in his Chevy Beretta round one and West Virginia’s Jay Kirk in his ’68 Chevy Camaro picked the round two award.

A pair of 4.46 dialed Dragsters made up the TOP Eliminator finals. It would be Johnson City, TN’s Rick Johnson taking the win with a .001 RT and Dead on run to beat out Mocksville, NC’s “Rapid” Russ Whitlock in his Youker Motorosports Dragster. Last week’s TOP winner Justin Holston of Rural Retreat, VA was the lone semi-finalist in his ’66 Chevy Nova.
The “Junkyard Dog” ruled over “Mayhem” in the finals of Foot Brake. Howie Adams of Pfafftown, NC in his Pontiac Grand Prix pulled it red off the start to give Hickory, NC’s Brent Hyatt in his Houston Trucking Chevy S-10. The red Hot Justin Holston in his Chevy Nova and the 9x Champion Ernie Humes III in his Ford Mustang were the semi-finalist.
The Champ is Back! Gunner Abernethy of Olin, NC scored his first JR Dragster win of the season defeating last week’s runner Jaxson Phillips of East Bend, NC in his “Freedom Rocket” Dragster. Colin Holston of Rural Retreat, VA and Blake Lee Weddington of Kannapolis, NC were the semi-finalist.
Greg Nelson of Clemmons, NC drove his Chevy Tahoe to a season first Street win over N. Wilkesboro, NC’s Bubba White in his Nissan. Bob Goss of Advance, NC was the lone semi-finalist.
A pair of Lexington racers made up the Farm Teen finals. Jaxon Taylor drove his Volkswagen to a first Farm Teen win over Tripp Spears in his Chevy Camaro. Emma Koch of Winston-Salem, NC and Mason Smith form Providence, NC were semi-finalist.
Next Farm Points race will be Saturday, JUNE 27th, for TOP, Foot Brake, JR Dragster, Street and Teens.
Next Mad Dawg 4.50 event will be Saturday, JULY 18th, the KCI Telecommunications Summerpalooza.

Farm Points Race #5 and Mad Dawg 4.50's headline this weekend's racing action down at the FARM June 5-6. It all gets kicked off on Friday Night, JUNE 5th, with Test-N-Tune and early parking. The drag racing heats up on Saturday, JUNE 6th, with the running of the Beal Racing Engines Americapalooza Mad Dawg 4.50 Fast Door Car Series. Plus, the battle for the championship heats up in TOP, Foot Brake, JR Dragster, Street and Teen classes with points race #5 at Farmington Dragway.

JUSTIN & JAMIE HOLSTON Dominate for TOP & Foot Brake WINS!
McCoy, Smith, Knight, Coffey, Winebarger and Koch also Score Victories

What a big day of drag racing down at the Farm this past weekend. Over 254 entries were on hand for Farm’s Point race #4 along with Outlaw 4.90’s and Classic Gear Jammers.
Taking the TOP Eliminator win was Justin Holston of Rural Retreat, VA is his
’66 Chevy Nova defeated Lauren Hudson of Davidson, NC in her Dragster. Third generation Drew Moffitt of Winston-Salem, NC drove his Dragster to great semi-finals finish.
It was an all Holston Family Foot Brake finals! Jamie and Justin would square off for the second time in one day. First they ran each other in round five of TOP, with Justin get the win. Jamie, in his trusty Chevy Chevelle would have his revenge in the Foot Brake finals. Both Holston’s nailed a .007 reaction off the start and go one above the dial for Jamie to get his first Farm win of the year by .003ths over Justin. Current points leader Brian Yerger, Jr of Mooresville, NC and Garrett Howell of King, NC were the semi-finalist.
Picking up the Outlaw 4.90 Door Car win was Union, SC’s John McCoy in his ’69 Chevy Nova over veteran drag racer Turtle Brannon of Boiling Springs, NC in his Chevy S-10 Truck. Dan Whisnant of Caser, NC and Joseph Bagwell of Flat Rock, NC were semi-finalist.
Defending his April Classic Gear Jammers “Main Event” win was Ricky Smith of Providence, NC driving his Chevy Wagon to another FARM Gear Jamming win. Smith received the win as veteran racer Colon Richardson of Asheboro, NC turned it red in his Chevy Camaro. Jimmie Wilson in his Ford Mustang was the lone semi-finalist. Burlington, NC’s Ross Knight drove his Ford Mustang top the CGJ Gambler victory over Yadkinville, NC’s Scotty Mickles in his Plymouth Duster. Josh Barzey was the semi-finalist in his Flinstone Chevy Nova.
Blowing Rock, NC’s Waylon Coffey used a better reaction time to pick up the JR Dragster win over East Bend, NC’s Jaxson Phillips. Tyler Biddle of South Carolina was the lone semi-finalist.
The reigning Champ Kevin Winebarger of Todd, NC drove his Ford Ranger to a second win of the year defeating the Chevy Pick up Truck of Statesville, NC’s Larry Hollifield. Bubba White of North Wilkesboro was the lone semi-finalist.
A red hot Emma Koch of Winston-Salem, NC scored her second straight Farm Teens win defeating current points leader Mason Smith of Providence, NC for the win. Alex Penna of Winston-Salem, NC and Luke Hobson of East Bend, NC were semi-finalist. Thanks to Lisa Regenthal for donating to the Teen purse.
This coming Saturday, JUNE 6th will feature the “Fast Door Cars” of the Mad Dawg 4.50 series in the Beal Racing Engines Americapalooza, along with TOP, Foot Brake, Jr Dragster, Street and Teen classes in points race #5.
