What an awesome testing group at Missouri Christian Taekwondo this evening!! This group gave 110% effort the whole test, and had a Chung Do spirit the entire time! Congratulations on your new rank! I must make a special post for this precious young lady. Miss Trinity is one of our special needs students who has been with Missouri Christian Taekwondo and Stone Wall Martial Arts for almost 6 years. Miss Trinity is autistic and speaking in public is a challenge, especially to those she does not know.

Miss Trinity has worked so hard over the past few years and earned her 1st Degree Black Belt last fall. When competing in forms, a student must introduce him or herself to the judges, along with the name of the form, their school, and instructor's name.

We have been working with Miss Trinity to help her build confidence, and on Saturday, she stood before an intimidating Black Belt panel, introduced herself and her form without any notecards, then demonstrated it fantastically! Needless to say, we are so proud of her and there was not a dry eye among us, seeing how this young lady has grown.

Afterward, she told her family, "I like this! When is the next one?"

Of all the medals, rank promotion, degrees, and awards, Miss Trinity's growth and confidence is, for us, by far the greatest victory of the event! As Sr. GM Sell rightly proclaims, "Taekwondo is good for you!"

Wow!!! What an amazing weekend at the USCDKA Master's Summit and Nationals!! It is always like a great family reunion which comes and goes too quickly. So much was packed into this year!

Jodi Crader - 1st place - point sparring, 1st place - traditional forms, 2nd place - sync forms
Jason Crader - 1st place - point sparring, 2nd place - sync forms

Master Gail - 2nd place - traditional Black Belt forms

Master Scott - 3rd place - traditional Black Belt forms (yes, she beat me. Again! She is pretty awesome!)

Special thanks to Mr. Jason for a job well done. I had to be away from class for a few weeks for military duty and Jason covered the devotions for our classes the entire month of June. He did an amazing job and was a blessing to all as he shared God's Word. Thank you, Mr. Jason!!
