Good afternoon everyone:



Yes the subject line says final season update and that is where we are which is hard to believe. We just finished conference play on Saturday and graduation is this weekend. The club has enjoyed a solid season. We finished 21-28 overall (the most wins in a season since 2012) and 15-17 in the WHAC good for a 7th place regular season finish and a spot in the conference tournament on Wednesday. We will open the conference tournament by playing Concordia at 10am this Wednesday at Concordia. You can follow the conference tournament at www.shusaints.com or www.whac.net where live stats and games are streamed live .



I have also attached the flyers for our annual golf tournament in August. It will be our 8th year in a row of having the tournament. It has grown into a great event for all of us to gather, tell stories, share friendships, and support the program. We look forward to seeing you there again this year.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly with nominations for the 50th Anniversary SHU Baseball Team. If anyone still has nominations to send to me please feel free to do so.

We plan on announcing the team in the middle of December and we will recognize them at our 2nd Annual First pitch dinner on February 17, 2024.

Alum Scott Slygh and his business Mr. Emblem have designed and are offering shirts for sale to commemorate 5o years of SHU Baseball. Our program will get a % of the sales.

Hey everyone

The weather does not look very good for baseball tomorrow with rain most of the day and winds that create a wind chill of 37 degrees

We will give it a shot but I am not very confident we will be able to play.

We will have coffee and doughnuts in the pressbox for everyone starting at 9am and you are welcome to stop in at anytime. There are also some cold cuts in here as well. You are welcome to stay as long as you want to visit and talk. This will probably be a better place to tailgate than in the rain and cold so come on in and enjoy.

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible!
