Out! Bowling is doing something completely different. While at Naper Pride's resource fair on Saturday, a discussion was had with our president, Ed Dunne and Board Member, Mike Consalvo, about how fun a group Alaskan Cruise would be as members of our league (and group-adjacent) and it was decided that we're going to try to arrange something for May of 2027.
So Out! Bowling is going on an Alaskan Cruise in 2027!
We're still gathering interest from those who might want to attend, but the cruise is open to any member of Out Bowling (LGBTQ Bowling League) (or the broader LGBTQ community - include Naper Pride members) and their family (adults only). It is being organized by me, Casey Wooley, an authorized travel planner, in combination with Ed and Mike.
Estimated Cost for the 8 nights, 9-Day excursion start at $326/person/night including flights, pre-cruise hotel stay, accommodations aboard the Virgin Voyages Brilliant Lady, and optional travel insurance.

Right now we're gauging interest. Once we have a better idea of who might want to come, deposits of 20% of the cruise fare would be due by 8/1.2026.
