The Frontier Lacrosse League has lost a true legend and pioneer. Coach Kirk Ventiquatro helped develop some of the finest lacrosse players and teams not only in Upstate New York, but across the country and around the world.

Pictured here with retired South Jefferson coach Tom O’Brien at a local youth camp a few years ago, Coach Ventiquatro and Coach O’Brien shared a lifelong friendship and a passion for growing the game. Together, they helped put the Frontier League on the map of Upstate lacrosse.

Coach Ventiquatro’s impact reached far beyond the field. His dedication, leadership, and love for the game shaped generations of players, coaches, and communities.

Thank you, Coach Ventiquatro, for everything you gave to the sport and to those fortunate enough to learn from you. Your legacy will live on through the countless lives you touched.

Rest in peace, Coach.
