✨ UEC Athlete Spotlight – Caydra ✨

Caydra is new to UEC this season, and we are so happy to have her as part of our program. She is an amazing tumbler who always stands out on the floor and brings so much strength and confidence to every performance.

This season, Caydra even asked if she could cross compete to help out our younger Junior team, which says so much about the kind of teammate she is. She has grown into a strong base, has backspotted, and is always willing to step up wherever she is needed most.

Caydra puts so much time, hard work, and dedication into cheer and continues to push herself to improve. She works hard without complaining, and her positive attitude and determination never go unnoticed by her coaches or teammates.

✨ UEC Athlete Spotlight – Norah ✨

Norah has been with our program for a few years and has grown into such a strong and talented athlete. In previous seasons, she cross competed on both our Junior and Senior teams, but this year she is focusing on our Senior team while balancing many school sports on top of all star cheer.

Norah is a flyer who also helps base when needed, and she is a beautiful tumbler with an amazing heel stretch that always stands out on the floor. She may be quiet off the mat, but when she performs, you can’t help but watch her electric performance and confidence shine through.

She is so fun to watch and truly such a great cheerleader. Norah is dedicated, hardworking, and always willing to step in and help wherever needed in the routine without ever complaining when changes need to be made. Her positive attitude and amazing athletic ability does not go unnoticed by her coaches. We love watching Norah perform on the mat, she has grown into an amazing cheerleader!

✨ UEC Athlete Spotlight – Penelope ✨

Penelope has been with UEC since the very beginning and has been a part of every step of our program’s growth. As a member of both our Junior and Senior teams, she shines as an amazing flyer on Senior while also stepping into the role of a base on Junior. Her beautiful heel stretch and confidence on the floor always stand out.

What makes Penelope truly special is her dedication and reliability. She is the kind of athlete who will never let her team down, performing through challenges like the flu and even with a cast on because of her commitment to her teammates.

On top of all of her cheer practices, Penelope has also taken gymnastics classes to continue improving her tumbling skills. Her hard work has paid off as she has earned her round off back handspring, standing back handspring, and back walkover back handspring step out. She continues to put in the extra time and dedication to better herself, and we are so proud to watch her growth.

Penelope is positive, hardworking, and deeply dedicated to our program. She wants to see her teams succeed, but she also understands that cheer is about more than winning, it’s about building a cheer family and being a kind, dependable teammate and athlete, which is exactly the kind of person Penelope is every single day.

✨ UEC Athlete Spotlight – Mackenzie ✨

Mackenzie joined UEC 3 years ago, and funny enough, she used to always say she would never be a cheerleader. After finally convincing her to come try it “just once,” she showed up and she never left.

From the very beginning, Mackenzie was a natural. One of the things that stands out most about her is her incredible physical strength. She can back, base, side, and every once in a while likes to remind us she could probably tumble too. She is fearless, confident, and always willing to step up wherever she is needed most.

Mackenzie is also a phenomenal dancer and performer who brings so much spark and energy every time she takes the floor. She is reliable, dedicated, and a senior that so many younger athletes have looked up to throughout the years.

But what makes Mackenzie truly special is her compassion for others. She is always looking out for her teammates, making sure everyone is okay, and willing to help anyone who needs it. She brings such a positive and kind energy to the gym, and when she’s not there, the whole team including the coaches usually agrees to just wait until Mackenzie gets back. We will miss her so much next season, but we know she is going on to do amazing things. We are so proud of you, Mackenzie 💙🔥

So proud of our UEC Dragons after an amazing weekend at the The U.S. Finals in Virginia Beach ❤️🐉

✨ Silver Sparks (Tiny) rocked the mat this weekend. Their confidence and growth this season has been amazing to watch, and we can’t wait to see how much they continue to grow next year.

⚡ Blue Lightning gave an incredible performance despite the wrong music playing during their routine. They stayed focused, pushed through, and didn’t miss a beat. So proud of how they handled the situation and earned their 1st place finish.

🔥 White Fire had a phenomenal performance and brought home both 1st Place and the Level 3 Championship. This was also the final competition for four of our seniors, and we are so thankful for everything they have brought to this program over the years.

So proud of all of our athletes, coaches, and families for an unforgettable season! 💙🖤

Amelia is a member of both our Junior and Senior teams and truly does it all — she can base, fly, tumble, and dance. She performs with so much energy and sass, and her beautiful heel stretch and strong tumbling make her stand out every time she takes the floor.

She is a dedicated member of our Senior team and stepped in to join our Junior team, learning a full routine in just a couple of practices before competition. Her ability to adapt and step up when needed shows her commitment and work ethic.

Amelia is always positive, kind, and encouraging to her teammates, helping create a supportive and uplifting team environment. Her dedication to the sport of cheer and to her teams does not go unnoticed.

Makenzie is a member of our Junior team and brings a competitive and fierce energy to everything she does. She is always pushing herself to improve, recently earning her back walkover and working hard toward her back handspring.

Her dedication to both cheer and gymnastics has truly helped propel her forward, and the extra work she puts in has not gone unnoticed by her coaches. Makenzie shows up with a positive attitude and is always willing to step in wherever she is needed to help her team succeed.

She cares about how the team looks as a whole and is driven to see everyone do their best. Makenzie is also a strong performer who brings confidence and intensity every time she takes the floor.

✨ UEC Athlete Spotlight – Franchesca ✨

Franchesca is a member of both our Junior and Senior teams and has grown so much this season as both a flyer and a tumbler. What has really made her stand out to her coaches, though, is her incredible dancing and performance ability. When Frannie hits the dance, you can’t help but watch — even in practice, she is always performing.

She has developed into such a well-rounded and dedicated cheerleader, always staying positive and looking for ways to improve herself and those around her. If another group is working on a stunt, Frannie is right there helping and offering feedback to make it successful.

Frannie is always willing to adapt and step in wherever she is needed to help the team put the best possible routine on the floor. Her dedication and exemplary cheer skills do not go unnoticed.

Aubrey is a member of our Tiny Team, Silver Sparks, and brings such a sweet and sassy personality to every practice. She is always giving her all and even puts in extra work practicing at home.

She has made great advancements in her tumbling and continues to improve each week, along with showing very strong and sharp motions. Aubrey is always eager to learn and takes pride in getting better every day.

She loves getting the chance to fly with our Junior and Senior teams and is also learning the basics of basing this season. Her willingness to try new things and step into different roles is so fun to watch.

✨ UEC Athlete Spotlight – Sadie ✨

Sadie brings such a fun and fearless energy to our program, always eager to try new things and take on new stunts. She is a strong backspot on our Junior team and a base on our Senior team, making an impact wherever she is needed.

As a cross competitor, Sadie helps make both teams stronger with her versatility and positive attitude. She naturally leads her group and is especially great at working with more novice flyers and bases, showing patience and helping everyone find success.

Sadie is always pushing herself to improve, especially as she works toward advancing her tumbling skills. She is also a great dancer and performer, giving her all every time she steps on the floor.
