✨ UEC Athlete Spotlight – Mackenzie ✨
Mackenzie joined UEC 3 years ago, and funny enough, she used to always say she would never be a cheerleader. After finally convincing her to come try it “just once,” she showed up and she never left.
From the very beginning, Mackenzie was a natural. One of the things that stands out most about her is her incredible physical strength. She can back, base, side, and every once in a while likes to remind us she could probably tumble too. She is fearless, confident, and always willing to step up wherever she is needed most.
Mackenzie is also a phenomenal dancer and performer who brings so much spark and energy every time she takes the floor. She is reliable, dedicated, and a senior that so many younger athletes have looked up to throughout the years.
But what makes Mackenzie truly special is her compassion for others. She is always looking out for her teammates, making sure everyone is okay, and willing to help anyone who needs it. She brings such a positive and kind energy to the gym, and when she’s not there, the whole team including the coaches usually agrees to just wait until Mackenzie gets back. We will miss her so much next season, but we know she is going on to do amazing things. We are so proud of you, Mackenzie 💙🔥
