2026 USRA Nationals is in the books. It was a struggle bus from the get go with the RV breaking down on the way there 😆 I'll make a recap post for Wyatt. You can check out TAE Motorsports page for info about Nathan and the bmod ✔️

Fri, heat race he did ok. Those were his 1st laps in this new car after getting the transmission fixed. B feature he started 5th and made a "rookie" mistake and shifted into the wrong gear, so taking the green, his car just didn't go. A pile up happened in front of him in turn 1. They did a complete restart but he didn't know he had to go get his spot back so he restarted at the back of the pack. He was able to drive back to 9th and missed the transfer spot by 2.

Sat, B feature....in turn 1 & 2, on the first lap, a guy just completely drove through his left rear quarter. That guy was sent to the tail but unfortunately Wyatt couldn't get his car to re-fire which ended his night.

The rest of the week he fished, hung out with friends, and got to visit with a lot of people. It's still his favorite event of the year and he's looking forward to next season already 💪

Video of the A feature with SLMS at Caney Valley. x2 speed to save time. Feature actually took 35 mins to run the 23 of the 25 laps they were supposed to. Enjoy!

Wellllll, Nathan decided to take the late model to Caney Valley with the Sooner Late Model Series. 1st we would like to thank Zach Rash, Dale & Lisa Hancock, & Justin for offering to let us borrow equipment to get the car there. Unfortunately Zach's trailer was to tall so we took the roll back instead. (Forgot to get a picture in the daylight).

Got to the track and didn't make hot laps. Heat race 6th ➡️ 5th. Still trying to learn to drive the late model after only 2 full nights in it 😆.

A feature 18th to well that depends on who you ask. Was up to 8th when he had a little help spinning out and sent to the back with 5 to go. On the last lap he was 10th going in to turn 3 where the 3rd place guy was sitting the wrong way at the top of the corner. 1st and 2nd had already crossed the flag stand so they threw the caution/checkered at the same time ending the race. Nathan and 2 other cars spun out to avoid running over the guy who spun out. Originally the results showed he finished 11th. Then 13th. Then 14th. Then he got paid for 15th finishing behind the guy who caused the caution 🙄 When he asked about it he was told they scored him 11th and that's where he would get points for finishing at, but paid him for 15th 🤣 But since they scored him 11th (also behind the guy who spun) he should have actually finished 10th. Bright side is, he's not running for points and the pay was the same at 10th as it was at 15th, he had a lot of fun, didn't get any major damage, and got at least a top 15 out of 23 cars in his 2nd full night in the car 👌

Now we just need someone to sponsor us a trailer so we can go have fun more often in this car 😜
