#6 is a short, straight par 4 where driver might not be the smartest play. Taking driver off the tee brings the pinched fairway and both side bunkers right into play. Ben recommends taking one club less than driver to give yourself way more room for error on left or right misses. Sometimes being aggressive doesn't require a driver!

Big news from the team! ⛳️
Our Director of Instruction, Ben Cook, just wrapped up the Michigan Section Championship with a T-6 finish.

With this result, Ben has officially qualified for the PGA Professional Championship next April. A top-20 finish there will secure his spot in the PGA Championship!

Our Director of Instruction, Ben Cook, and his partner Jimmy Delnick took home the win at the Michigan PGA Fall Pro-Pro!

They fired a -10 through 18 holes at Washtenaw Country Club—navigating six holes scramble, six holes modified alternate shot, and six holes best ball—to tie for the top spot.

In the playoff, Ben rolled in a birdie on the very first hole to seal the victory and bring the trophy back to Quail Ridge!
