HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!
Last night, we had the honor of promoting our newest blue belt - one that has been in making for a long time.
Athena began training with us several years ago, beginning in our Kids program as a white belt attending Kids classes. As she progressed and aged, she moved to Adult classes, but progressed through the Kids belt structure. White, gray, yellow, orange, and finally green. The last few of which were obtained during adult classes, not Kids classes.
This young woman has put an incredible amount of time and dedication into training over the years. She even tested for Blue Belt (a grueling multi hour test that pushes a students mental and physical limits) during our last seminar with Master Ricardo Cavalcanti , even though she knew she would not recieve a Blue belt even if she successfully passed due to her age. Well, she's 16 now and she has more than earned this belt.
Athena, we couldn't be more proud of you!

Kid's BJJ Fundamentals - 6:00pm - 6:45pm
Adult BJJ Fundamentals - 6:45pm - 7:30pm
Women's Self Defense - 7:30pm - 8:15pm
