As you may have seen from my last video, I believe a latch to help secure the cam on a foot and knee ascender is an important safety aspect. The latch can also be an annoyance and even pick a rope if not done properly. I have tried to mitigate these issues. Some may find when they're competing and their feet are going very quickly and perhaps their form is not just perfect at that speed, that the latch can kick open. There's a solution to that and it's easily done. This video explains that.
