I would like to begin by saying thank you to my “Skipper”, Coach Stoy for giving me the opportunity to serve and share the diamond.
I hope and pray we get to share the diamond again one day sooner than later. Until then, I’m determined to make a positive impact both on and off the field with the men I have been intrusted with as the head coach of . We all will do you proud Skip!

As a Division 1 team in the KJCCC, we’re fortunate to have players from across the country and internationally. Which speaks to the diversity and potential of this program and our college. Allen CC has a long proud tradition of serving the community and equipping student-athletes with the tools, resources, and support they need to excel in whatever path they pursue. It takes a village as we all know, and we have a pretty darn good one here at Allen CC.

Our facilities, housing, cafe, and student life are excellent. The front office, staff and teachers have all been very welcoming here in Iola, Kansas. The coaches of all the other sports have shown nothing but passion for what they do, which is refreshing and motivating as a coach.

It’s never easy being away from home, but this team of young men already have my heart. We have a saying that I stole from my good friend and head coach Dash O'Neill of GA Highlands… it is, “we go, you go,”. It’s a reminder that our individual success is tied to our collective buy-in, dicipline, attitude and effort daily. I’m excited to push this group to new heights this spring and make a lasting difference not only for these young men but for the community as a whole.

This journey requires sacrifice being away from home and my family, but it’s one I’m proud to take on, knowing the impact we can make together.

The young men I have been blessed to share the diamond with are leveling up daily. They are ready to seize each day and make their dreams come true.

I am excited to announce that I am officially a part of the EC Bullets organization! - Elizabeth Shivley

EC Bullets— Shively will be a mixed 05/06 team, focused on competing at the highest level, doing so with passion and grit, with the ultimate goal of helping each and every player reach their potential and play at the college level. I am looking to add more depth in the circle as well as in the Outfield!

NEXTLVL Softball is going to continue to assist and serve softball players 8-12 yrs old. Our mission will be to teach and empower our players / coaches with the proper fundamentals, training and accountability.

However, once our young ladies start their JV and Varsity experience they will have the opportunity to take their talent to other premier organizations, one of which will be the “OG’s” of Fastpitch Softball here in Georgia! Their new indoor training facility will be at the new Doyle Acadmey on Cobb Parkway!

The EC Bullets are Georgia's First Fastpitch Organization founded in 1996.

The EC Bullets have developed a tradition of excellence that has helped over 500 players receive college scholarships to play fastpitch softball.

I am so grateful for the coaches and instructors that we have that strive to get the BEST out of their students. These coaches believe in their students even more then they believe in themselves and care sometimes more about their student’s success then they do. But never the less they continue to pour into them. Some will get it, some won’t… but the seeds to success will be planted!

Things we will continue to get better at as a unit in 2022.

1. Clear Expectations while we continue to be culture warriors.

2. Keep learning everyday to become better teachers. (Student first mentality no matter how many years, what level or championships you have played in.)

3. Even more game within the game instruction and mental game teaching if you can believe it!! 😉

4. Holding ourselves, players and coaches to a higher standard on field.

5. Demanding Excellence, Effort and Attitude

6. Understanding where there is little discipline there is little learning.

7. Rules without consequences aren’t rules at all.

8. Accountability for Player Folders and Player documentation

9. No team skips chapel on Sundays (once is one time too many)

10. Continue get better at shining the way about proper perspective when it comes to life, success and the diamond
