Stepping away from your normal rhythm does not solve your life.
But it can help you see it.
Distance has a way of exposing what routine keeps hidden.
What is working.
What is draining you.
What you have outgrown.
What you have been too busy to appreciate.
Leaders are usually good at creating space for plans.
We are not always good at creating space for perspective.
We build.
We solve.
We carry.
We move to the next thing.
Then we wonder why we feel disconnected from the life we worked so hard to create.
Growth does not only happen when you push forward.
Sometimes it happens when you pause long enough to recognize how far God has already brought you and become honest about where He may be leading next.
The journey is not wasted time between destinations.
The people, places, and moments along the way are shaping the person who will arrive.
Create space before life creates it for you.
