Acushnet River Valley Golf Course, designed by nationally renowned golf course architect Brian Silva, opened for play in 1998. The front nine is cut out of tall white pines, reminding you of Carolina courses. Holes 12 through 17 are open, treeless, links-style holes with rolling fairways and undulating greens. Acushnet River Valley is designated as PARK & RECREATION - You cannot HUNT in a PUBLIC PARK. Staff is still working on the golf course and residents are walking the property.
