So near yet so far! That summarizes the humdinger of a Quarter final that MSSK played against the #1 MCL Patriots.

Bowling first MSSK stunned the table toppers with 🔥 bowling & fielding restricting them to 139 all out. MoM ._.naidu bagged a crucial 5-fer and was well supported by , and pandu.

Super kings started well but encountered a batting collapse in the middle. Veteran and had a crucial 52 run 8th wicket partnership and took the game deep with 30 runs needed in 5 overs. Game swayed both ways with MSSK getting crucial runs but also losing crucial wickets of Suraj and Bhanu.

MCL used experience on their home wicket and defended 10 runs in the last over with MSSK losing by an agonizing 1 run 💔 Congratulations MCL Patriots, Cavs C, Lagaan Panthers & Bulls Knights for making the semis. May the best team win.

Another MSCL Pro40 season comes to an end with MSSK doing well to make playoffs and unable to make a deep run. Lot of lessons learnt and hopefully the team comes back strong next year. Now onto some T20s to sign off the cricket season.

A very mature 83*(107) by MoM saw MSSK win comfortably against T&T last weekend. He was well supported by his Cambridge mate 37(53) as they put up a match winning 96 run partnership.

Batting first, T&T used all their experience to post a competitive 211/5 on a fast Franklin Park outfield. ._.naidu and were pick of the bowlers and bowled tight lines to keep the opposition batsmen in check. MSSK chased the total in the 35th over with 6 wickets in hand.

As MSCL regular season comes to a close, MSSK is looking forward to a strong finish and booking a spot for the playoffs 🤞.

After a tough couple of weeks, MSSK registered a convincing win. Batting first, MSSK posted 250. Captain led from the front with a brisk 67(76) and was well supported with a maiden half century by 54(56).

MoM was lethal with the ball and bagged 6 wickets (8-0-21-6)!

F2 had some really good U15 players ( Rohan, Amit and Anshu) who were well supported by gymkhana veterans .j.james, , Srini and Jagga.

3rd innings was the best part with yummy food, drinks and reminiscing good old times with Gymkhana.

Mass State Super Kings registered another clinical win this weekend against a spirited padawans side.

After having lost the toss, was asked to bowl first. and displayed a swing bowling masterclass and kept the scoring under control. and ._varma assisted the bowlers with some sharp catching. Ishan and Parthi provided a nice rear guard for Hoysala and had a 70+ run partnership. ._.naidu breathed 🔥 in the end to bag 3 wickets and restricted Hoysala to 145.

MSSK got off to a non ideal start with a mix up at the non strikers resulting in a run out. Vinoth and MoM (31, 2x4s,1x6) laid a strong 70 run partnership in the chase. Pradeep and Bhanu finished things off with some nice big 6s.

The U17 players of Hoysala padawans continue to impress every year and are getting leaner, meaner and stronger (Hint: Beast movie reference 😎). There was good friendly banter on the field 😀 and both the teams capped it off with delish Indian food from Madras Grill. Go Superkings 💛

Mass state super kings had to fight their way against a brilliant Lagaan Tigers team this weekend. Batting first, MSSK posted a competitive 199 on the board. continued his good form with the bat and top scored with 41 (including 2 sweeeeet sixes). He was well supported by his NIT Trichy cricket mate (35). Bowling started strongly for MSSK with Avinash and Pandu using the overcast conditions well. MoM bowled an economical spell of 8-0-20-2 and staved off a brilliant 8th and 9th wicket partnership by Lagaan Tigers to win the game by 21 runs.
Next up is a game against an incredibly talented and competitive padawans on Sunday Jun 19. Go Superkings 💛

Congratulations on a good win yesterday. Batting first MSSK couldn't put up a big total. top scored for MSSK with 25*. Bulls knights chased the total comfortably. ._.naidu was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets on the back of 2 amazing catches from suraj and haresh. Go Superkings 💛

Following our yearly whites and red ball tradition, MSSK played St Columba in their beautiful and picturesque ground this Sunday. Batting first SCCC were all out for 136. MoM displayed a swing bowling master class and returned figures of 7-1-12-1. He was ably supported by ._.naidu (3 wkts) and Vinoth (3 wkts). MSSK chased the target comfortably with hitting some nice big sixes. We would like to thank for their hospitality and letting us be part of their amazingly well organized red ball cricket tourney. We look forward to playing more in 2022 💛

This weekend saw yet another thrilling chase by MSSK. Having lost the toss (Again! 😜), captain was asked to bowl first in cold and blustery conditions. Pick of the bowlers was Vinoth and .nats, taking 2 wickets each and stifling the runs.
Risshi and gave a good start with the bat. The 100 run partnership between debutants (51) and MoM Pradeep (69*) ensured MSSK reached home comfortably with the 6 wickets in hand and 4 overs to spare. Go Superkings 💛
