I’ve had a very busy last week so this post is about a week late. Went out for the final night of the points season last Friday. Started 5th in the heat and got shuffled back to 7th after getting stuck on the bottom. I started 13th in the feature right next to mikey and after the green was thrown I fell in line behind him. We worked our way up to 5th and 7th. When after a restart his car popped out of gear and we got together ending his night. I fought to stay upfront and ended up finishing 8th.
After an up and down season we ended up finishing 8th in points. After wrecking the car earlier in the season I didn’t have much hope that I’d be able to bring the car back out. Thanks to Jim Helt, mark Sylvester, Tracy Elizabeth Chris Heady and Christopher Chirico for helping getting parts and getting the car back in one piece. We ended up only missing 3 races. We fought a breaking up issue for weeks after I brought the car back out. Finally got everything running right the night we won. I never would’ve thought that in my first year back in the car since 2016 and my first season on dirt that I’d even get close to winning let alone getting one this year.
