Absecon BlackJacks Walk It Off Against Ocean City

Absecon BlackJacks took Wednesday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 4-3 walk-off victory over Ocean City. The game was tied at three in the bottom of the eighth when Brian Harper singled, scoring one run.

Ocean City opened the scoring in the second after Omar Hernandez singled, scoring one run.

Absecon BlackJacks captured the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the second after Matt Murphy singled to center field, and Ryan Baldwin lined out, each scoring one run.

Ocean City captured the lead, 3-2, in the top of the third after Joe Gallagher doubled to center field, and Absecon BlackJacks committed an error, each scoring one run.

Kyle Lamanteer lined out, which helped Absecon BlackJacks tie the game at three in the bottom of the third.

Benny Andreoli pitched five innings in relief for Absecon BlackJacks. The hurler allowed two hits and zero runs while, striking out 10 and walking one. Justin Eifert started the game for Absecon BlackJacks. The hurler gave up three hits and three runs (two earned) over three innings, striking out five and walking three. Anyelo Nicasio began the game for Ocean City. The hurler allowed six hits and three runs over three innings, striking out none and walking six.

Absecon BlackJacks accumulated 11 hits in the game. Murphy and Baldwin each collected three hits for Absecon BlackJacks. Lamanteer, Murphy, Harper, and Baldwin each drove in one run for Absecon BlackJacks. Gunnar Smith collected two hits for Absecon BlackJacks in four at bats. Absecon BlackJacks Victorious Over Egg Harbor Township Eagles

Absecon BlackJacks were triumphant over Egg Harbor Township Eagles 6-1 on Friday at Bargaintown Park.

Absecon BlackJacks got on the board in the third inning after Ryan Baldwin singled, scoring one run.

Justin Eifert started on the hill for Absecon BlackJacks. The starter allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out six and walking none. Ben Mitchell led things off on the hill for Egg Harbor Township Eagles. The starter surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking three. Otley Makosky threw one inning of shutout ball for Absecon BlackJacks in relief. The reliever allowed zero hits, striking out one and walking none.

Gunnar Smith went 1-for-4 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Mario Toro went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Absecon BlackJacks in hits. Absecon BlackJacks had patience at the plate, piling up nine walks for the game. Anthony Letizia, Matt Murphy, and Jacob Slusarski led the team with two bases on balls each. Murphy stole three bases. Absecon BlackJacks stole six bases in the game. Absecon BlackJacks turned one double play in the game.

Mitchell led Egg Harbor Township Eagles with one run batted in. Nolan Murawski, L Seidenfadon, and Austin Fisher each collected one hit for Egg Harbor Township Eagles. Egg Harbor Township Eagles turned one double play in the game.

Mario Toro Drives 5 Runners Home In Absecon BlackJacks Victory Over Northfield Cardinals

Mario Toro drove in five runs on four hits to lead Absecon BlackJacks past Northfield Cardinals 12-1 on Monday at Birch Grove Park. Toro hit a home run to right field in the fourth scoring three, singled in the third scoring one, and singled in the fifth scoring one.

Absecon BlackJacks opened the scoring in the second after Gunnar Smith homered to left field, scoring two runs.

Four more Absecon BlackJacks runs crossed the plate in the third inning to extend the lead to 6-1. Jacob Slusarski homered to center field, scoring two runs, Toro singled, scoring one run, and Sean O’Kane was struck by a pitch, driving in a run.

Five more Absecon BlackJacks runs crossed the plate in the fourth inning to extend the lead to 11-1. Matt Murphy hit a solo home run to right field, Toro homered to right field, scoring three runs, and O’Kane singled, scoring one run.

Toro started on the hill for Absecon BlackJacks. The hurler gave up four hits and one run over four innings, striking out two and walking three. Evan Biddle started the game for Northfield Cardinals. The hurler gave up five hits and six runs over three innings, striking out seven and walking five. Chase Lipshutz pitched one inning of scoreless ball for Absecon BlackJacks in relief. The pitcher allowed one hit, striking out one and walking none.

Absecon BlackJacks accumulated 14 hits in the game. Murphy and Slusarski each collected multiple hits for Absecon BlackJacks. Absecon BlackJacks had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Anthony Letizia and Murphy led the team with two free passes each. Murphy stole two bases. Absecon BlackJacks stole four bases in the game. Absecon BlackJacks turned two double plays in the game.

Yoan Feliz went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Brett Uhing, Justin Epifanio, Ray Keelan, Feliz, and Kevin Dick each collected one hit for Northfield Cardinals.
