As we wish one and all a Happy Labor Day, we continue to Meet The Muses of XANADU THE MUSICAL!
Next up, it's the Muse of Tragedy, Melpomene- played by Andi Beauchamp Carroll!
XANADU tells the story of Kira, leader of the Muses, and her sister Muses as they travel from Mount Olympus to Venice....California. Set in 1980, this fun, high energy show is a spoof of the movie by the same name. Our Muses try to inspire Sonny, a down on his luck artist who has a dream- to open his own roller disco. (Remember, we said it was 1980.)
With songs by Olivia Newton-John and Electric Light Orchestra ("Magic", "Have You Never Been Mellow", "Evil Woman", "Strange Magic" and more!), this show is a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours out.
