We are looking for youth and adults who are interested in becoming soccer referees. This is a great opportunity for players looking to make a little money while learning a new skill and broadening their soccer knowledge; for adults to invest in the game in a new way; and for parents and kids to do something together.

Potential Referee candidates need to create a profile in US Soccer's Learning Center in order to register for the course. The course is titled "2026 LOUISIANA FIRST TIME GRASSROOTS REFEREE COURSE WITH IN PERSON FIELD TRAINING SESSION: Slidell Sunday August 23, 2026.

They must:

1. complete US Soccer's online training course and

2. then complete an in person field training course.
