🏈GIVING BACK. HELPING THE NEXT GENERATION.🏈

We’re excited to collaborate with the Abilene YMCA YMCA of Abilene and have our McMurry Women’s Flag Football players give back to the community by volunteering their time to coach and encourage the next generation of young girls playing flag football!

This is bigger than football.

Our girls have an opportunity to pour into these young athletes, teach them the game, build their confidence, and show them what’s possible when you believe in yourself and put in the work.

We’re proud to help grow women’s flag football right here in Abilene and create opportunities for the next generation.

We’re excited to welcome Elizabeth Yaws Liz to McMurry Women’s Flag Football! 🏈

A sophomore at McMurry, Elizabeth will be making the transition from softball to flag football. A true athlete from New Braunfels, Texas, she brings speed, athleticism, and versatility to our team.

👀 Fun Fact: Elizabeth has football experience dating back to her teen years, playing TYFA football!

Even better, Elizabeth is already a part of the McMurry and Abilene community, making this an even more special addition to our program. We’re excited to see her bring her athletic ability and competitive spirit to the field!

We’re excited to welcome Brooke Frelke ♾Brooke Frelke♾ to the Flag Football family! 🦅

A junior from Stony Point HS in Round Rock, TX, Brooke will make the transition from softball to flag football, bringing her athleticism, competitiveness, and versatility to the field.

Brooke is already making an impact in the McMurry and Abilene community , and we’re excited to have someone who understands what it means to be involved and give back.

We can’t wait to see her bring that same energy, work ethic, and athleticism to the field as a War Hawk!
