Always willing to help out the community

🏒💥 Abilene showed up again!

When Abilene Hockey needed a little help evaluating players for our Adult Fall Season, Coach Chilli from the Abilene Mambas came out and jumped right in.

And this is exactly why we love this community.

Different sports. Different teams. Same goal: support local athletes, build something positive, and show up for each other.

Big thanks to Coach Chilli for spending part of your evening with us and helping us get ready for a great fall season.

We’re hoping this is just the start of more Abilene Hockey + Abilene Mambas community fun in the future.

Black R***e Coffee Company… WE NEED TO TALK.

Coach Ray Bullard Jr. has a football team to build, a rescue to run, and approximately 47 things on his to do list for today…

So naturally, he’s decided the solution is more coffee… Honestly, we’re not sure if he’s coaching the Mambas or preparing for a caffeine fueled hostile takeover of MOFA next month… but either way this dude is fired up!

We’re not asking for much. Just keep this man fueled up so we can win a championship.

September is Su***de Prevention Month.

Check on your people. The strong ones. The funny ones. The ones who always seem fine. The ones who are always there for everybody else. You never really know what someone is carrying behind closed doors.

A conversation can matter. A phone call can matter. Sitting with somebody can matter. Reminding someone they’re loved can matter more than you realize.

And if you’re the one struggling right now, please stay. There are still people to meet, memories to make, places to go, and parts of your story that haven’t happened yet.

You matter. Your life matters. And the world is better with you in it.
