Wondering if I'm about to double post- as post is not showing up...

Anyway- Invoices are giving people trouble, so I am emailing by class with your times. You may get multiple emails for different children in different classes.

This will do until I can fix invoice issues. I have ONLY sent in Session 1 Pre-K 9:30, 10:10, and 11:30 and 6 and UP 9, and 10 am classes.

I will do more tomorrow, then work on getting Session 2 sorted.

Finally, I will go back to work on invoices.

Good evening all, I've had a lot of trouble with invoices not being able to be opened, so I have gone to plan B and am just emailing you with your time (no invoice) until I can get those fixed. I just needed to get you all this information.

I've ONLY completed Session 1 Pre-K 9:30, 10:10, and 11:30 as well as 6 & Up 9am and 10 am classes. I will work on more tomorrow between meetings and classes.

Session 1 is FULL Except for Guard Start and Babysitting. I have NOT sent confirmations. I started a few today and will work through tomorrow getting those started. There are 6 children I have not been able to fit into a class yet, but I am working on a solution, and I have sent emails to those families without a reserved time.

Swim registration is off to a bang! I have class from 10:30-3:30 today so will not be able to respond to questions during this time, but will do so this evening after I get off of work and make dinner! :)

Here is the information for 2026 Summer swim lessons. Registration will open on Tuesday March 31 at 9:00 am.

Session 1 will be Monday-Thursday June 1-11
Session 2 will be Monday-Thursday June 15-25

Parent/Child will meet ALL 4 FRIDAYS in June

We will offer Guard Start (ages 12+)
We will offer Babysitter Training (ages 11+)
First Aid/CPR/AED training is offered throughout JUNE

Prices:
CPR/FA/AED $50
Parent/Child $90
Pre-K classes $100
6& Up classes $120
Spotlight lessons $140
Babysitter training $140
Guard Start $200

We are offering Lifeguard Training and Lifeguard Recertificationtraining (15+) in April & May:
Lifeguard Training: April 16-19 OR April 23-26
Lifeguard Recertification: May 12-15

Swim lesson registration will open on Tuesday March 31 at 9 am.

At this time we will NOT have a session 3. If I can make arrangements to offer it later I will make that announcement.

Session 1 will be June 1-11 and session 2 will be June 15-25.

Sessions are Monday-Thursday for 2 weeks (8 days).

Classes are offered 9 am-noon.
Group and spotlight lessons will be available.

We will have guard start.
We will have babysitting.
We will have parent/child in some format.

Registration for Summer Swim lessons will be late March. I will post a few days prior to registration opening.

Session 1 will be June 1-11 Monday-Thursday
Session 2 will be June 15-25 Monday-Thursday

We may offer a shortened Session 3, if we do it will be 4 days ONLY from June 29-July 2 (Monday-Thursday).

Parent/Child classes TBD - potentially 4 Fridays in June, but I'm being a little selfish and kind of want to enjoy Fridays with my kids. Will think about it and update later.

Babysitter course- TBD - since I am losing a valuable team member this year I am not sure if I will be able to leave the pool to teach this class- again- I will do my best to offer it, but not sure currently.

Wishing everyone a warm weekend! This water falling from the skies reminds me that very soon we will be joyfully swimming in the water!

The job application for Lifeguards and Instructors is loaded into the HSU webpage for anyone interested.

Registration will be AFTER spring break (mid to late March).

Session 1 June 1-12
Session 2 June 15-26

More than likely we will NOT host a July session as it is too much stress for me personally while I am away from the pool each July and the fact that one of my most trusted staff members will not be able to help this July. This could change if I find a replacement I trust in my absence. We have a few months to figure that out!

Families, wanted to share the swim team opportunity with Coach Rebecca over at the YMCA. She is one of our stroke instructors each summer. I know my two kiddos will be there this weekend!

Come make waves at the Y! Join the only youth swim team in Abilene TX. This year we are accepting kids as young 4-5 and up to 16 years old!

Tryouts are Saturday 8/9 at 11:00AM at the Y pool. All you need is a swim suit and goggles to take the level placement swim test.
