Well.... we did it AGAIN!

Wylie anglers, Cash Stockard and Sawyer Fleming secured a 1st place win at the Texas BASS Nation Youth Northwest tournament this past Saturday on Eagle Mountain! Wylie placed 2nd as an overall team!

1st place: Sawyer Fleming & Cash Stockard 14.94 and Biggest Bass winner with 7.90
12th: Kale Trumble and Carson Stine with 6.72
25th: Austin Beard and AJ Amonett 3.01
28th: Carson Beal and Tripp Bearden with 2.95

🏆🎣 Big congratulations to our Wylie High School Bass Fishing Team for reeling in a 3rd Place Team Finish on the first stop in the Texas BASS Nation Youth Northwest trail- Lake Bridgeport on September 20th! These anglers continue to impress with their teamwork, effort, and love for the sport!

🎣 Big News from the Water! 🏆

We’re proud to announce that 3 anglers on our fishing team competing on the THSBA trail are advancing to the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP! After a season of early mornings, tight lines, and serious determination, these anglers proved they’ve got what it takes to compete with the best!

Congrats to Kale Trumble on his first place win bringing in 25.26 pounds!

Due to their impressive performance during this tournament, Carson Stone, Kale Trumble, and AJ Amonett will continue on to the THSBA STATE TOURNAMENT on May 31st - June 1st on Lake Conroe!

💰🎣 What a great tournament at O.H. Ivie for our Wylie Bass Fishing team! And our anglers are even bringing Home a Check! 🏆🐟

We’re excited to share that Austin Beard and Jake Bearden placed 6th overall and brought in $400 — hard work, long hours, and a little bit of luck all came together for a great finish!

Throughout the season many of our anglers have been able to score a top 10 position and bring home some cash! Without our community this would never be possible!

🎣🏆Big win for our Wylie High School bass fishing team! 🎣🏆 So proud of all of our talented anglers and for Carson Stone and Kale Trumble for bringing home the victory at the THSBA Brownwood tournament this past weekend! WIth AJ Amonett bringing in 8.66 for 13th place, Saydee Blosser and Kyler Church bringing in 3.68 for 38th, and Voss Wells bringing in 1.74 for 64th! 💪👏 Their hard work, dedication, and teamwork paid off big time, as Wylie High School placed 2nd overall with a combined weight of 29.44 pounds!
