Hazel has been to the shelter for a while and really would love to have a loving furrever Home. You can tell she is royalty by her striking emerald eyes. She's not a princess, she can take care of herself, but she is a queen, very regal and kind.
Her purr is so sweet, and she lays her head in your hand, so grateful for kindness

All cats that do attend Wine and Whiskers are available for adoption. And even if you can't adopt, Wine and Whiskers offers a way for you to help the Humane Society in their mission to rescue animals

The Mocktails of Wine and Whiskers

Two amazing Adaptogenic and Nootropic Nonalcoholic Mocktails will be available. Adaptogens are ingredients that counteract stress hormones, which help to reduce inflammation and fatigue. All pet rescue organizations are experiencing higher than normal intake, and it is especially stressful on no kill shelters like the Aberdeen Area Humane Society. With the community's help we know we can get through this!!

Join us for a night of purrs, head bonks, lap snuggles, feline antics and wine. Reserve your tickets as soon as possible, as space will be limited. All proceeds go to the Aberdeen Area Humane Society. And all cats at the event will be available for adoption. Taste a new wine, Make a new Furr-iend, and dress your best, but expect cat fur ;)

Your first class of wine is free with your ticket, after that it is $6 a glass -- all tips and proceeds will go to the Aberdeen Area Humane Society.

Rescue organizations across the nation are in crisis mode with No Kill Shelters such as the Aberdeen Area Humane Society feeling it even worse.

We are doing this to raise money for the shelter - but also, to allow the kitties to roam and around and meet people. It makes them more adoptable, it gives them human love and interaction, so even if you can't adopt a kitty, you are helping them as they wait for their furr-ever home.
