⛳ A HUGE THANK YOU FROM LEE PARK! ⛳
As we wrap up two days of hosting the 2026 Class AA Boys State Golf Championship, I want to recognize the people who made it all possible. Hosting an event like this takes more than a golf course—it takes people who care, show up, and give their best.
Thank you to the SDHSAA for trusting Lee Park Golf Course to host this championship. It was an honor to welcome players, coaches, and families from across South Dakota to our course and the Aberdeen community.
To our volunteers, thank you for giving your time and energy over the last two days. You stepped in wherever help was needed, and your support took so much off our shoulders. Your willingness to help means so much to me and our entire staff.
A special thank you to Dean Zahn for volunteering his time and sharing his experience. Having your knowledge and support throughout this event meant a great deal in doing rulings and working together brought many memories.
To the players and coaches, thank you for being part of these two days. Congratulations on reaching the state championship! We hope you leave with memories you’ll carry long after the final putt. Thank you also to the families and spectators who came to support these young men.
To our Lee Park patrons, thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support while we hosted this event. We appreciate you helping us welcome these visitors and share the course we’re proud to call home.
Most importantly, a heartfelt thank you to our grounds crew, golf shop staff, and clubhouse team. You made everything come together. Preparing the course, welcoming guests, answering questions, and handling all the little things along the way takes a tremendous amount of work.
Much of that work happens behind the scenes, but I see it, and I appreciate it more than I can say. Your effort, pride, and willingness to help one another made all the difference. These two days would never have run as smoothly without you.
I’m proud of our team and grateful to everyone who helped us represent Lee Park and Aberdeen so well. Thank you for your hard work, your support, and the care you put into this event.
It means more than you know. 💚
