S***T CLINIC – LEARN TO SHOOT S***T.

The Aberdeen Gun Club will host a s***t clinic on May 30, 2026. The instructor will be Bill Coad, a NSSA Certified Level II S***t Instructor. The clinic is free, but the shooter will be responsible for:
- Providing their own gun – 12 or 20 ga. w/ S***t, Improved Cylinder or Cylinder chokes
- Providing their own shells – 12 or 20 ga. Target loads
- Paying for five (5) s***t rounds @ $8.00 per round
- Shooting Vest/ Shell Carrier
- Eye & Ear Protection

What will the shooter learn?
- S***t Etiquette – proper range behavior and safely
- Flow of S***t Game – how a round of s***t progresses
- NSSA S***t Rules
- Clay Target Games – How does s***t differ from trap and sporting clays
- Gun Mount – ensure accuracy, stability, and safety while shooting
- Eye Dominance – ensure accurate visual perspective between gun and target
- Stance – where to face; how and where to stand, and why it matters
- Break Points – where targets should be broken
- Hold Points – where to hold the gun before calling for the target
- Look Points – where to focus your eyes
- Lead – methods of lead & how to lead and break targets
- Follow Through – maintain proper motion through the shot

Clinics will have a minimum of 2 shooters per session and a maximum of 5 shooters per session. There will be a maximum of 2 sessions. (Max of 10 shooters for the day).
