The Copperheads leverage strong existing relationships with head and assistant baseball coaches at every level of the college game to assist us in player development. In addition to the local coaching we provide, our players regularly receive intensive instruction from some of the nation's best collegiate baseball coaches.

We came across this old photo from 2002 when Coach Sawyers coached Jimmy Jackson at Shepherd College.

Coach Sawyers is in the back row, far left. Jimmy Jackson, now the pitching coach at James Madison University, is in the middle row, third from the right ( #8).

The second photo is of Coach Jackson pitching during his sophomore year in college. (Pitchers, notice how the glove is in front of his chest and not falling off to the side or down by his leg.)
