True vine soccer academy was established on 4th june 2009 and registered in February 2010 with the registrar of companies and affiliated to the Uganda youth football association (UYFA) under the federation of Uganda football association (FUFA) and the national council of sports (NCS). For three years since 2009 there has been an exceptional display of young talent in the country however, it has be

en recognized that for there to be any chance for these players succeeding ,there is serious need to invest in them and exposing them at national level, in order that they may have their chance of fulfilling their potential. It was with this vision in mind that the true vine soccer academy was formed. Uganda has many talented football players, however many of these players fail to reach their potential as there is and for a long time has been a serious lack of investment in the football academies. This is one of the major reasons that Uganda has not managed to qualify for the African nation’s cup since 1972. Uganda has very few football academies and those that exist are often underfunded, lack sponsors and are poorly resourced. The federation of Uganda football associations (FUFA) has realized the need to invest in talented young players and has been encouraging the formation of youth soccer academies through Uganda youth football association (UYFA) in which these young stars can horn their skills and learn the game of football. The talent is there, the willingness to train and play is there but unfortunately the equipments are seriously lacking, here at true vine soccer academy we are doing our best with little we have in order to help invest in the talent of our young players and extend to them every opportunity to fulfill their potential and dreams.
