ERFA Adjusts Fixtures for Bugisu United FC and SCORE SC Ahead of Uganda Cup Matches
The Eastern Region Football Association (ERFA) has made fixture adjustments in the Eastern Regional League to facilitate better preparation for Admin FC Mbale -Bugisu United and Northern Division FC SCORE as they gear up for their Uganda Cup round of 64 engagements.
In the upcoming round of 64 knockout ties, Admin FC Bugisu United will host 10-time Uganda Cup winners KCCA FC (Joint record winners) at Mbale Stadium in Mbale City on Wednesday, 24th January 2024. Meanwhile, Northern Division FC SCORE will host another Uganda Premier League side NEC FC on Thursday, 25th January 2024, at the same venue.
Due to the Stanbic Uganda Cup schedule for these two teams, ERFA has announced a change in their next league games. The original fixture had Sky Sports SC hosting Admin FC Bugisu United on Tuesday, 23rd January 2024. However, the game has been rescheduled to take place on Sunday, 21st January 2024. Similarly, Northern Division FC SCORE was initially set to host IUIU SC on Thursday, 25th January 2024, but the game will now be played on Monday, 22nd January 2024.
An ERFA letter dated 18th January 2024, signed by Chairman of the Competition’s Committee Isaac Mpanso, states, “As per the above reference, the following matches have been rescheduled: Sky Sports SC vs. Admin to be played on 21/01/2024, and Northern Division FC vs. IUIU SC to be played on 22/01/2024 before Uganda Cup games.”
