Jays Sports Academy is a sports academy registered as a CBO in Kasese District and was established by a group of 5 Youth with the mission of Empowering OVC and the Youth out of social marginalization, isolation and discrimination through income generating initiatives, formal education with basic technical/vocational skills and sports for both girls and boys. Jays Sports Academy trains girls and bo

ys aged 8 to 17 years in football and athletics, mobilizes street kids so that they can participate in football and athletics, income generating activities, counselling and guidance so that they ca be better people and leave streets. It also hosts seminars, workshops and clinic in line with youth self-development and talent development, HIV/AIDS, income generating activities, environmental conservation addressing early pregnancies and peace and reconciliation. Jays sports Academy rehabilitates the street kids and train them in football and athletics and believes this will reduce the number of street children in Kasese town and turn them into sportsmen and women.
