About Uganda Triathlon Federation (UTF)

The Uganda Triathlon Federation (UTF) is the national governing body for the sport of triathlon in Uganda, recognized by the National Council of Sports (NCS) and affiliated with Africa Triathlon and World Triathlon.

Founded with a vision to inspire and elevate Ugandan athletes, UTF is mandated to develop, promote, regulate, and represent the sport of triathlon across the country—from grassroots participation to elite international competition.

Triathlon is more than just a sport—it is a test of strength, endurance, discipline, and determination. UTF champions this spirit by providing platforms for athletes, coaches, and officials to grow, compete, and succeed.

We are committed to:
• Organizing world-class events and national championships
• Building a strong pipeline of youth and elite triathletes
• Upholding international standards of fair play, safety, and integrity
• Expanding access and opportunity to all regions of Uganda

Uganda Triathlon Federation is the official governing body for the sport of triathlon in Uganda. It oversees the development, regulation, and promotion of multisport disciplines including triathlon, duathlon, and aquathlon. With a mission to nurture talent and grow participation across all age groups and abilities, the federation organizes national competitions, facilitates athlete training, and represents Uganda in international events. Through partnerships and grassroots initiatives, Uganda Triathlon Federation is committed to building a strong triathlon culture that inspires fitness, resilience, and sportsmanship nationwide.
