The governing body said it was concerned about actions aimed at damaging its leadership and reputation, emphasizing that it remains committed to protecting the integrity and stability of global football administration.

JUBA, SOUTH SUDAN — August 9, 2026: Family members, friends, relatives, government officials, colleagues, and well-wishers gathered at Juba International Airport to receive the remains of Molana Mayen Wol Jong, who recently passed away in Nairobi, Kenya.

Mayen Wol Jong served as a Chief Administrator in the Office of the President and later held the position of Undersecretary in the Ministry of Petroleum.

His remains were repatriated to South Sudan, where family members, former colleagues, and members of the public gathered to pay their final respects and mourn his passing.

The arrival brought together people who worked alongside him and those who knew him personally, as the country remembers his contribution to public service.

Preparations for his burial and funeral rites are expected to take place in the coming days.

Land of Cush Media extends its condolences to the family, relatives, colleagues, and all those mourning the loss of Molana Mayen Wol Jong.
