o have been born into a country in which for a large population of people, the daily wage can be less than $1.50 a day. A team who, through their own passion, determination and drive have not only developed successful jobs and careers, but who are also world class kayakers. Every two years, the international canoe federation holds a Freestyle Kayaking World Championships, in which athletes compete from around the globe, the gain the prestigious title of World Champion. But, as an athlete competing, its not just about the title; its about the opportunity to travel to world class venues, its about meeting and being inspired by other world class athletes, and its about representing your country on a world class stage. In November 2017 the Freestyle Kayak World Championships will be held in San Juan, Argentina. We need to raise $3500 per competitor to cover flights, competition fees and accommodation.
