Gulu City Council Football Club, would like to congratulate Young Elephant Fc of Nwoya and Northern Gateway Fc of Lira City for being the table leader in the Elephant and Rhino group respectively and GCCFC wish them good luck in the playoffs.
As you maybe aware,
GCCFC ended the first round of the league with only 6 points and 6th on the table standing.
During the first round the club did win any single game and lost 2 couches and head of technical staffs but the players, administrators, fans, and supporters worked as a team to achieve a phenomenal record of winning the first 5 games in the second round out of 6. We have played all our planned 15 matches as per the regional league fixtures.
Next season,
We shall be competing to qualify for the big league and it will happen; we shall do this as a team as we have always done in the past.
We shall use the season break to strengthen our squad, mobilize resources, reshuffle our administrative structures, look for investment opportunities, but most importantly play several friendly games; you will always be notified.
For now,
Players, coaching staff, and management will take a short break from football-related engagements as we shift our attention to strengthening administration, boosting up fan bases other investment opportunities.
As we boost up administration we would like to openly welcome interested individuals who would like to be part of the administration or invest in the club and are ready to work with the club to reach out to us.
Once again, we would like to say thank you to the home and away fans for being and following the club even during the club's toughest time.
