AFRIYEA Golf Academy is the number one Golf Academy in Uganda Africa and the very first one in the region of East and central Africa training children from under privileged and minority groups like girls and disabled on how to excel in Golf and Education. We support and Empower the girl child to also embrace the sport of golf through various our initiative of GirlsForGolf GolfForaeveryone. W

e use golf as away for the Kids to achieve their Academic Goals

Disabled Kids are given a priority to also benefit from the sport of golf by support them to play. Golf aside, our learners are taught about environmental conservation so as they can also create a sustainable environment for future generations ! All these activities are empowered by formal education which we do promote and also encourage our learners to prioritize academics. We are now running two chapters one at our founding club Toro club in Fort portal tourism city and the second one at Masindi Golf and Sports club in Mid western Uganda. Our Core Values

Running for Mental Health, Swinging for Change
Afriyea Golf Academy x Tooro Mental Run

At Afriyea Golf Academy, we believe golf goes beyond sport it is a pathway to healing, discipline, connection, and mental wellbeing. That’s why we are proud to partner with the Tooro Mental Run to amplify mental health awareness

Through this partnership, we are combining the strength of golf and running to challenge stigma, open up conversations, and remind everyone that mental health is just as important as physical health. Together, we are creating safe and empowering spaces where young people can build confidence, manage stress, grow focus, and support one another both on and off the field.

We are also excited to work together in organizing a successful marathon on 30th May a powerful event that will bring communities together in support of mental wellness, unity, and positive change through sport.

This is more than a partnership it is a movement toward a healthier, stronger, and more compassionate future, one step and one swing at a time.

Meet Jean, one of our talented juniors who proudly represented the club at the Golf Sixes Tournament. Competing alongside young golfers from across the region, Jean showed great determination, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm throughout the event.

The Golf Sixes format is designed to make the game fun, fast-paced, and exciting for young players, and Jean embraced every moment of the experience — from teamwork on the course to building confidence and developing new skills. We are incredibly proud of his effort, attitude, and commitment, and we look forward to seeing her continued progress in the game.
