Exmoor pony The Exmoor pony is considered the oldest breed in Britain.

He has long been in a semi-wild state, not afraid of the cold, grazing on the wastelands of Exmoor, areas in the counties of Devonshire and Somerset.

In the 19th century ponies worked in the mines, but those days are long gone. Semi-wild Exmoors continue to live in their native places, domestic go under the saddle, perform at various competitions.
