A pleasure to meet Micheál Martin during his visit to Kyiv today. 🇮🇪🇺🇦 Not every day you get to hand over a club jersey to an Taoiseach. It's yours now, so the invitation is there - next time you're in Kyiv we'd love to see you at training!

Another historic training for the Kyiv Gaels this Monday 🇺🇦🇮🇪

We held our first ever hurling session, the first ever official hurling training session in Ukraine! It was great to bring this 3,000 year old sport to Ukraine and to see so many people giving it a go.

We're planning to incorporate hurling into the start of some of our football training sessions from time to time, so if you'd like to give it a go then send us a message and come along.

We look forward to seeing everyone again next Monday for more GAA training. By Palats Ukraina metro, 18:30-20:00.

First of all, we hope everyone is safe and well after another difficult night in Kyiv.

Despite all that is ongoing, we had our biggest football training session to date last night! A huge thank you to everyone who came along. It was fantastic to a mix of familiar faces and newcomers.

A special shout to our guests from who shared their skills with us.

If you've been thinking about giving Gaelic football a try, all abilities are welcome, whether you're a seasoned player or beginner.

The Kyiv Gaels are growing and we need your support ☘️🌻

Whether you’ve been with the club since day one or you’ve only just found us, we’d really appreciate any donations you can spare as we invest in the future of GAA in Kyiv.

We’re fundraising to:
- Invest in new training gear, kit and long-term items like goals to allow us to play on full-size pitches
- Keep covering pitch rental costs so we can train consistently year-round in all weather conditions
- Continue offering subsidised membership options
- Support community events and cultural activities that promote Irish culture here in Kyiv
- Buy specialist equipment (including sliotars and hurleys) as we work towards starting hurling training in the new year
