Playing sports improves your state of mind, helps to get rid of stress and negative thoughts. Training is a time when we think about ourselves, reuniting the body with the mind.

Thanks to physical activity, your body will release endorphins that will make you feel great, sometimes to the point of addiction! In any case, by doing sports, you will get rid of dark thoughts and everyday worries: do not deprive yourself of this, we all need to relax! These feelings of pleasure and inner well-being will also increase your self-confidence and self-esteem.
Exercise helps to lose weight, but it is also good for the heart!

Weight loss should not be the only reason to exercise at all. There are much more serious reasons – for example, prevention of cardiovascular diseases.

The heart is a muscle, and like any other muscle, it becomes stronger due to training. Due to physical activity, the heart grows in volume, the heart rate and blood pressure gradually decrease, and the vessel walls become more elastic. Thus, sport helps to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

By the way, losing weight is also good for the cardiovascular system. Fat around the abdomen is the most dangerous for the heart, as it helps to reduce the endurance of the body. By exercising regularly, you attack the deep layers of fat, while increasing muscle volume. Thus, your silhouette gradually becomes slimmer, and you feel better during activity. Faster, higher, stronger - that's good, isn't it?

Play sports for fun

How about doing sports just for fun? It is not necessary to have excess weight to lose! Training is your chance to make yourself a gift.

The feeling of pleasure will be different depending on the chosen sport and your expectations: the adrenaline from extreme and/or high-speed sports, the joy of running faster or farther today than yesterday, the pleasure of muscle relaxation and lightness after yoga, the pride that you can stand in the bar for 30 or even 60 seconds without dying of fatigue, the joy of easy climbing stairs and so on.

These joyful moments are an integral part of training! So we were lucky. After all, pleasure is the key to regularity and, consequently, to athletic progress and health.

What to do with the child during the New Year holidays

The long-awaited vacation has come, and you are looking forward to it! Someone has a lot of plans and pending cases for him, and someone on the contrary has a complete disconnection from the outside world.

Children and adults alike enjoy holidays, when they can take a break from everyday worries and devote time to their favorite things. So that the child also enjoys the break and does not tire you with whims, you need to plan your free time correctly.
Joint vacation

Make plans together. Nothing inspires a child more than understanding that his opinion is being listened to. A simple rule: for one of your sentences or deeds, there should be one word of your children.

You choose the main vector - say, which place to go and where to stay, and the child adds specific touches: where to go, to the cinema or the water park, to the fair or to football - let him make the decision himself, and you will support his choice.

It is not necessary to spend time together all the time, especially if the child is a teenager, but at least something needs to be done together.
IDEA: when you give something to a child, think about yourself. Ice for downhill skiing? Take two, you'll race. Roller skates? The same thing! Learn a few tricks together or take a ride around the city. If you show your children that you are ready to share their passion, they will not have to be persuaded to do something. They will lead by themselves!

Games for body and mind

Combining physical activity with intellectual activity, we get a charge of emotions and get less tired. Switching between them allows you to maintain concentration and bypass boredom. The best implementation of the principle of this principle is available through the game.

Desktop or mobile, complex or simple – not so important. Playing, we forget about time and fatigue. If you and your child have a constant hobby, try to put it aside for a while and try something new. You can discuss in advance what exactly you will do for the first time.

Another option: parents choose an activity for children, and children choose their parents. All ideas and opinions are accepted! When finished, be sure to share your impressions and emotions.

Create adventures

When we go shopping, it's boring. But if we go in search of a secret hiding place, which is hidden from us by clever store employees— it's a completely different matter! The same event, but such a different mood.

The easiest way to turn into an adventure is joint hikes and walks. The road itself will tell you unusual places and throw up puzzles. Let there always be some minimal equipment with you, say a ball or a frisbee, which in an instant will turn an ordinary walk into a competition or a game. Children are connected to the process of inventing if they are given an idea. If there is a lot of snow on the street, then the inventory is not needed – snow will replace everything!
IDEA: not only children, but also adults love to search for treasures and lost treasures. Prepare a small quest! It is not necessary to hide something expensive, it may be a trinket, but with a long history and magical properties. A pre-hidden treasure will enliven the walk, and it will be remembered for a long time.

Small indulgences

On vacation, adults allow themselves a little more than usual. Sleep a little longer, eat a little more. The schedule of the day loses its clear framework… Let the children have a little more! So they will understand that life is not only constant worries, chores, assessments and tasks, but also spontaneity, fun and even real doing nothing! Only within reasonable vacation limits.

How to learn to snowboard?

Snowboarding is a fairly young sport in Russia, but not in the world. To make your skating go smoothly and have fun, we have prepared some tips for beginner snowboarders.

Preparation and warm-up

It is best to prepare for the winter season in advance. OFP, morning exercises, cardio and strength training will help you to be more resilient on the slope and avoid many injuries. If you are already constantly practicing sports, then we advise you to add balance exercises and classes in trampoline centers.

Like any other sport, snowboarding does not tolerate "cold muscles". Be sure to stretch right before skating, it is especially important to prepare your legs and back.
Snowboarding Basics

First of all, you need to understand in which rack you will ride, which leg will be in front. If you have already skated on other boards, then you probably know your leading leg. Ask a friend to unexpectedly push you in the back (not much), the leg that will be in front is the leading one, that is, it will be in front when snowboarding. Another good method is jumping on obstacles. The push leg will be the "back" on the snowboard.

Regular puts his left foot in front, Goofy puts his right foot in front.

A few more definitions, and let's get started!

The board has a back and front edge. Everything is simple here. The board also has a nose and a tail. The nose will be located in front and the tail in the back, depending on your stance.

First steps

So, we figured out the definitions, found out our stand, what's next?

Let's start with a gentle slope. Let's get into the fastenings and feel our board. Fasten only the front leg, put the back leg between the fasteners and start to slide slowly. Transfer the weight to the front leg. Such skating is called onefoot.

As soon as you feel comfortable, fasten your back leg. You need to get used to having both legs strapped in. Try to move on a flat surface, jump, dance on a snowboard. Your brain needs to understand that there is no danger in strapped legs.

Plow

We begin the congress on a gentle slope, using the most universal exercise - the plow. On the slope, try to move down on the back edge, keep your balance, bend your knees, feel the resistance of the snow and find the perfect body position.

At this stage, the most falls happen, do not worry. It is very important to watch the toe and the front edge, otherwise it will dig into the snow and you will fall forward and down the slope. This is one of the most unpleasant falls, which is called "catching the edge".

To stop or slow down, put a lot of pressure on the rear edge (heels). The friction will increase and you will stop.

"Falling Leaf"

Now you need to learn how to go not just down, but driving a snowboard, move left and right. This exercise is called "falling leaf".

In order to go to the right, push harder on the heel of your right foot, and the snowboard will go to the right. Try to stop and move to the left using the same method.

We do the same exercises, only standing with our backs to the slope.

First we go down, standing "on tiptoe", without turns. And having already felt confident and balanced, we perform a "falling leaf" on the front edge.

This exercise is more difficult than on the back edge, but after it you will feel more confident, and progress will go uphill.
Turns

Most likely, you will not start this stage on the first day of skiing. But as soon as you learn how to make these turns, you will be able to overtake skiers and get the most pleasure from skiing.

For this stage, choose a wide and gentle slope. Start sliding, gradually load the weight of the front leg – the snowboard will go forward and down.

You will begin to gain speed, gradually shift your weight onto your socks, and tilt your body a little forward. Watch your body, keep your balance until you stop and the board stands across the slope. Remember your feelings, feel the moment of turning. This is called "rewinding". In this exercise, it is important to find balance and remember the movements of the body. After a while, it will become as easy for you as riding a bike.

Re-edging from the front edge to the back
Reverse rewinding

You are standing with your back to the slope, now you need to do the same thing, but in the opposite direction - to move from the front to the back edge.

Transfer your body weight to the leading leg, gradually shift your weight to the heels, keep your balance and stop facing the slope. Now combine these 2 exercises, repeat them until the end of the slope.

So, you have mastered the most difficult exercise - perekantovka. Repeat this exercise until you feel confident.

Now you can go to the mountains!
