Today we celebrate **World Fisheries Day**, which aims to draw attention to the problem of excessive exploitation of natural resources of the seas and oceans. More than a third of the world's fish stocks are overfished, and the critically low state of wild fish populations is one of the world's greatest ecological challenges. Sustainable fishing is key to protecting our oceans. Over the past three years, certified fisheries have made over 400 environmental improvements, including those that benefit the conservation of endangered species and ecosystems. Together we can spread knowledge and help others understand how much sustainable fishing means! 🌊🐟🌎 MSC-certified products come from sustainably managed fisheries. This means it does not contribute to overfishing and does not damage marine ecosystems
