The mystery is revealed! 🌅

After a triumphant day on the mats, on the 7th of September 2025 our champions embarked on a magical reward. We spent the night under the stars, camping in the beautiful Fumba, and greeted the morning with a sunrise boat ride to a pristine sandbank at Safari Blue.

This was the perfect chapter to our victory story: Bahari kids swam in crystal waters, played on endless white sand, and explored historic shores. It was a well-deserved celebration of spirit, teamwork, and joy.

Our motto for the day says it all: “Train hard, compete like a champion, and enjoy your time afterwards.” ✅

This trip was a reminder that discipline and dedication make the sweet moments even sweeter. Here’s to balance, and to building unforgettable memories together!

🏆A VICTORY IN ZANZIBAR BUDOKAN!🏆

On Saturday the 6th September 2025, our young warriors from Bahari Judo Club stepped onto the mats at the reopening of the legendary Zanzibar Budokan. And what a performance it was!

With immense pride, we brought home:
🥇2 GOLD Medals
🥉2 BRONZE Medals

Out of 3 weight categories that means victory but how the wins and lose? Stay tuned for the videos.

Our youngsters didn't just compete; they left everything on the mat. They participated with sweat, courage, and gave a complete, absolute 100% of their ability. This victory is a testament to their hard work, discipline, and the unwavering spirit of Judo.

There's no better day to share this milestone than today, on World Judo Day! As the global judo community celebrates, we join in, proud of our contribution to this incredible sport and the values it teaches.

This is just the beginning! The future of Bahari Judo is bright. 💪🏾

We are excited to announce that Bahari Judo Club has officially received new training equipment as of March 1, 2025! 🎉 A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this project and helped make it possible for our club and our young athletes to thrive in Judo!

Thanks to your generosity, we have added fantastic new resources to our training arsenal, including:

🏋🏾‍♂️ 4Trainer equipment like jump ropes, strength rubbers, and uchikomi rubbers in various pull weights
🤼🏿‍♂️ Gripping gears for grip training
👣 Handprints and footprints to help beginners learn breakfalls
🕒 Two competition scoreboards and six different stopwatches
🥋 30 complete sets of judogis and colored belts (yellow, green, orange, and blue)
⚕️ First aid supplies for injuries and emergencies

Your support ensures that we can continue to grow and develop Judo in our community. We promise to use this equipment with dedication and make sure it serves the purpose you intended!

💥 Exciting News from Bahari Judo! 💥

On March 1st, our young athletes had an incredible Jujitsu session led by our esteemed chairman of the board of trustees, Mr. Olivier Remy! 🌟 Together, they explored the techniques used in Judo that are also essential in Jujitsu, showcasing the amazing similarities between these two dynamic sports!

While many judokas often overlook the ground techniques (Ne Waza) in Judo, our Bahari kids are breaking the mold! 🥋💪🏾 They’ve embraced the importance of Ne Waza, and are eager to implement their newly acquired skills into their practice.

We are so proud of our youngsters for their dedication to learning all aspects of Judo! Let’s keep pushing the boundaries and growing together!

🌟 Judo History Workshop Recap!🌟

On March 1st, our talented youngsters had the incredible opportunity to dive into the rich history of Judo! 📚👊🏾 Under the guidance of the amazing Madam Isabelle Remy, they explored the fascinating journey of Judo, from its roots in Jujitsu to its Olympic status. 🥋🏅

They learned about the significant impact of Judo during World War II and embraced the core discipline of Shin Gi Tai (Body, Mind, Spirit). It was an enriching experience that combined history with valuable life lessons!

A huge thank you to Madam Isabelle Remy for sharing her knowledge and passion for this beautiful martial art. 🙏💖
