Before, I used to think this verse was mainly about dreams, goals, and personal plans. But after reading the Bible under the guidance of the Holy Spirit through Pastor Robert, I began to understand its deeper meaning.
I was Using Proverbs 29:18 to talk about success, ambition, or vision boards, but the verse is actually speaking about something far greater.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish” is talking about the absence of God’s revelation, truth, and guidance. When people stop hearing and obeying God’s Word, they begin to lose spiritual direction and self-control.
The “vision” here is not merely human dreams it is divine revelation.
A life without God’s guidance eventually becomes confused, unstable, and driven by personal desires. But when we stay connected to God’s voice through His Word, prayer, and obedience, we find wisdom, direction, and peace.
True vision begins with God speaking not just man planning.
