This weekend 4th August, 2018 Secretary General of TaBSA Mr. Alpherio Nchimbi together with Mr. Hiroki Iwasaki, a national manager for Tanzania Baseball spent time to visit four Secondary schools and Primary Schools to encourage the baseball and softball games within their schools. We were accompanied by Assistants coaches Hussein(Kidu), Antar Omari and Shija the players of the national team. It was a good weekend for us and for the game.

Tanzania Baseball and Softball national Executive Committee members today 8th November, 2017 sat in it's ordinary meeting to discuss agendas on the recently WBSC Congress held in Gaborone, Botswana, WBSC Development Coaching Program held in Mwanza and the budget for 5th Tanzanian - Koshien Baseball Championship to be held in Dar es Salaam from November 30 - 3rd December, 2017. Members also discussed the coming East Africa competitions in December, 2017. The meeting was under TaBSA Chairman Dr. Ahmed Makata.
