Young Africans have signed a three-year sponsorship deal with the National Insurance Corporation (NIC) for the Player of the Month award worth 900m/-.
The contract was sealed in Dar es Salaam on Monday and the exercise of selecting the club’s player of the month is set to begin this October.Yanga’s president Hersi Said hailed the move by NIC saying it is an opportunity for the team’s players to show their talents and abilities.
“This is going to improve individual performance of players as they will be working hard to win the award of the specific month,” he says.
He said the club will now be promoting NIC.
NIC Managing Director Elirehema Doriye said the best insurance provider entity in the country has opted to work with the best team.
