Hairtail ☑️

We went out in some rainy weather for some night time fishing for Hairtail. This is one of the few fish that have so many known names! Hairtail, Cutlass fish, Beltfish, etc. 🐠

Either way we managed to get some really good sized ones this time! They were laying really deep too at around 70m. 🌊

Skipjack Tuna ☑️

Then there’s these guys that make targeting Yellowfin quite tricky sometimes, especially if they get to the baits first, and are around in vast numbers. It can get annoying real quick! 😅

Yellowfin Tuna ☑️

This is by far my biggest yellowfin tuna on the eastern coast of Taiwan. This guy couldn’t resist the Zalanna Caldera and those Ghost Blade Devilish hooks! 💪🏽

It’s really a good fish considering that we had to chase them down all the time. It also gave the Avani and Ocean Record leader a tough time! 😅🐟

Story of my life at the moment… hahaha. Always good to hook some species but man the rain really buggered up the bite in the estuaries. So much freshwater getting washed out. 🥲

Still, an average days fishing is better than nothing. Stay blessed. 🫡🙏🏽
